God said let there be:
V = Є = - ~{!R~} E*dr Felectric = Q1Q2/4~{&P~}eR^2
Є = І*Ω Q = C/V E = F/Q
P = I^2*Ω U = eV
~{&5~} = ~{!R~} E*dA = qenc/e0
Fmagnetic = Q*(V^ x B^)
~{!R~} B*dA = 0 Fmagnetic = KmQ1Q2/R^2
~{!R~} B*dr = ~{&L~}0*I + d/dt(~{!R~} E*dr)
Є = ~{!R~} E*dr = - d/dt(~{!R~} B*dA)
And there was light on Earth.
(IM me if any of the above equations is wrong, I just did it on the top of my
head)
Do you people realize how many integrals, vectors, and derivatives it takes to
create light? Have any of you stopped in the middle of playing your games and
thought about how great Newton, Leibniz, Gauss, Euler, Edison, Ampere, Maxwell,
Faraday, Ohm, and Coulomb are??? Well I have. I think they are the greatest
people to ever live on this planet. They have contributed some much to modern
engineering techniques and concepts that it's not even funny. Almost every thing
that we use and take for granted is developed because of the Calculus. Without
the Calculus we are just a bunch of nomads without light in the night. We will
have no more IMing, ICQing, or any of that sort of crap. My whole point of
writing this entry is to commend the hardwork and brilliance of the past greats.
They are the ones who should really deserve some e-props for what they have
done. And next time you IM someone to ask about your science homework or
whatever, stop for a minute and think about the people who helped made IMing
possible, such as Newton.
